Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Parry. By using parryai.dev or the Parry GitHub App, you accept these terms.

Effective May 15, 2026

1. The service

Parry is a multi-tenant security-scanning service for code hosted on GitHub. It runs scanners against repositories you own or administer and reports findings via the Parry web app and GitHub Check Runs. The service is operated as SaaS only; we do not currently offer self-hosted deployments.

2. Accounts

You sign in via GitHub OAuth. You must have authority to install the Parry GitHub App on every organization or repository you connect. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, including activity by collaborators you grant membership in Parry.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use Parry to scan code you are not authorized to scan. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, exfiltrate other tenants' data, circumvent rate limits, or use the service to develop a competing scanner. Do not abuse the AI Review feature to extract the underlying model's behavior or to run unrelated workloads.

4. Plans, billing, and trials

Public repositories are free. Paid plans bill monthly via Stripe; the active price and limits are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Trials, when offered, convert to the corresponding paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends. We do not bill for overages without explicit consent.

5. AI Review (opt-in)

AI Review is off by default and must be explicitly enabled per organization. When enabled, pull-request diffs and surrounding context are transmitted to the named AI provider; secrets and environment files are redacted before transmission. You are responsible for ensuring that enabling AI Review is consistent with your own contractual obligations with code authors and customers.

6. Data and confidentiality

How we handle your code and personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and the Trust page. Both are incorporated by reference into these terms. We treat your code and findings as confidential and do not access them except as required to operate the service, prevent abuse, or comply with law.

7. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your code and the findings derived from your code. Parry retains all rights to the service, its UI, its underlying detectors, reconciliation logic, and documentation. You grant Parry a limited license to process your repositories solely to operate the service for you.

8. Third-party services

Parry integrates with GitHub, Stripe, and (when AI Review is enabled) a named AI provider. Their terms govern your use of those services. Parry is not responsible for outages or behavior of these third parties.

9. Warranty disclaimer

Parry is provided “as is”. Security scanners are not a substitute for human review. We make no warranty that the service will catch every vulnerability, that findings are free of false positives, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred euros, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Parry from third-party claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or your scanning of code you were not authorized to scan.

12. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the Parry GitHub App and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate the service if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that jeopardizes other tenants. On termination, your data is removed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email to active org owners and reflected in the effective date above. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Parry's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law gives you a different forum.
